Actress Gwyneth Paltrow has confirmed the next Avengers movie will be her last appearance in the MCU.
The Oscar winning actress told Variety in an interview:
“I mean, I’m a bit old to be in a suit and all that at this point.” She adds, “I feel very lucky that I did it, because I actually got talked into it. I was friends with [original Iron Man director] Jon Favreau. It was such a wonderful experience making the first Iron Man and then to watch how important it has become to the fans.”

Having played Pepper since the first Iron Man which launched the Marvel Cinematic Universe in 2008, Paltrow also appeared in Iron Man 2 and 3, The Avengers, and Spider-Man: Homecoming as well as Avengers: Infinity War, the first part of the story concluding in Endgame.
Speculation is that it will actually be Potts who comes to Tony Stark’s rescue when he is trying to get back to Earth with a very limited supply of oxygen. It is expected that she will use one of the Iron Man suits to bring Tony (Robert Downey Jr) home from his failed attack of Thanos on Titan.
While not opposed to someday reprising her role in small flashbacks or cameos in future films, it is not expected for Pott’s comic-book hero known as Rescue will play any major roles in upcoming MCU films.
Avengers: Endgame is due for release April 26, 2019.
