Hawkeye Set for November 24 Release

The MCU Limited Series to Debut on Disney+

The first trailer for the MCU’s next limited TV series, Hawkeye, has finally been released and it is looking great! (watch below).

Hawkeye stars Jeremy Renner as Clint Barton along with Hailee Steinfeld as Kate Bishop, a 22- year old archer following in his footsteps.

Based on the comics run by Matt Fraction and David Aja which first paired up the two archers, the series will follow Barton after the events of Avengers: Endgame as he trains Kate to take on the mantle of Hawkeye.

Florence Pugh as Yelena Belova will also star in the series as the post-credit scene in the Black Widow movie hinted at. Belova, former Widow and sister of Natasha Romanov, now works for Contessa Valentina Allegra de Fontaine (Julia Louis-Dreyfus) who also cropped up at the end of Falcon and the Winter Soldier perhaps setting up a future cross-over series. de Fontaine told Yelena Clint was responsible for Natasha’s death setting up trouble for Clint and Kate.

Hawkeye also features Fra Fee as mercenary Kazimierz Kazimierczak, Tony Dalton as Clint’s former mentor Jack Duquesne (aka the Swordsman), Vera Farmiga as Eleanor Bishop, Kate’s mother, Alaqua Cox as Maya Lopez, and Zahn McClarnon as her father William Lopez. Maya is also the hero known as Echo, a deaf North American character from the comics with the ability to copy her opponent’s movements. She is set to have her own standalone Disney+ series next year.

A poster for Hawkeye was also released as shown below.
