Charlie Cox Teases MCU Return

After appearing in Spider-Man: No Way Home, Daredevil star Charlie Cox teases he will be back in the MCU soon for more adventures of the Marvel vigilante, Matt Murdock aka Daredevil

In an interview with Radio Times, Cox said that while he does not know much, future appearances of Matt Murdock in the MCU are definitely on the horizon.

Fans (include yours truly), were very disappointed when the Netflix series Daredevil was canceled after three seasons. It was hoped the show would continue on at Disney+ once it launched, however, there are still no plans for this.

Speculation is that he will appear in one of the upcoming Disney+ series, most likely Echo, the Hawkeye spin-off starring Alaqua Cox as Maya Lopez. Echo and Daredevil have a history from the Marvel Comics which makes us suspect he may appear in it.

Of course there are so many MCU projects in the works for both theatrical and streaming release, Daredevil could show up in other projects as well. And there is a rumor that he may once again get his own series – this time on Disney+.

Daredevil and the rest of the former Netflix series will be leaving it’s service soon and is moving to Disney+ in Canada on March 16. It is not clear though if it along with Jessica Jones, Iron Fist, Luke Cage, Punisher and The Defenders will all make the move to Disney+ in other markets. We will be sure to let you know any news we hear.
