Jeremy Renner severely injured in accident at his home

Actor Jeremy Renner, known for playing Hawkeye in the MCU, is in critical but stable condition after an accident while clearing snow at his home in Lake Tahoe, Nevada.

Renner has so far undergone 2 surgeries after being airlifted to the hospital on Sunday to repair damage to his leg and chest after the Snowcat he was using to clear snow from his driveway ran over him. Initial reports are saying he hit a hard patch of ice or another obstacle that caused him to be knocked from the seat of the vehicle that then ran over him. Renner lost a great deal of blood before being rushed by helicopter for treatment. It has been revealed he was helping his nephew get his car unstuck from the snow when the accident happened.

Renner is currently staring in The Mayer of Kingstown series.

Renner and his family have lived in the Lake Tahoe area for several years and renovates snowplows as well as fire engines at his large property which also includes a recording studio. He has posted photos of himself clearing snow many times on his official Instagram account.

Family is at his side and fans worldwide have been sending well-wishes. We join them in wishing him a speedy recovery.

Update: February 17, 2023: Renner is recovering from 30 broken bones but has been in high spirits laughing with friends from a wheelchair. He has been sharing updates to his Instagram account including the one below during physical therapy.
