A WandaVision spinoff series for Disney+ is in development by Marvel Studios. The yet unnamed series would star Kathryn Hahn reprising her roll as Agatha Harkness from WandaVision.
The series is being described as a dark comedy with WandaVision head writer Jac Schaeffer serving as the writer and executive producer.
Hahn played Agnes, Wanda and Vision’s nosy neighbor who turned out to be actually Agatha Harkness, a powerful witch who survived the Salem Witch Trials. She was more than a match for the Scarlet Witch though was trapped in the city of Westview at the end of the series forcing her back into her Agnes persona.
Kathryn Hahn, who is a writer, director and producer in addition to an actress, worked on the story of the Black Widow film as well as appearing in WandaVision, which was the first Marvel series for Disney+ airing from January – March 2021.
If the series comes to fruition, it would most likely not air until 2023 at the earliest.
