Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone had the BIGGEST opening weekend in history knocking both Jurassic Park and Star Wars Episode 1 out of the water!

From the beginning, two additional films were planned and now both of them are being filmed back to back to take advantage of the lead children before they grow up too fast.  The second, Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets, began filming November 19, 2001.

Sorcerer’s Stone hits home May 28
Look for the video and DVD release of Sorcerer’s Stone on May 28. The DVD version will feature a special, interactive interface allowing viewers to tour Hogwarts, Dragon Alley, and various instructors classrooms with hidden features. It also includes interviews with producers and director Christopher Columbus, extra footage, etc. You’ll even be able to capture a Snitch with your remote control!
