A new report claims that the official ‘Spider-Man’ Reboot title will be announced at CinemaCon as Spider-Man: Homecoming.
Sony Pictures recently registered Spider-Man: Homecoming as a url domain name along with 3 other possible titles. Homecoming, besides referencing that Spidey is coming home to Marvel Studios, is the title of a comic book arc that featured cameos of Iron Man and Captain America which would certainly be a good plan.
It is also now expected that Vulture (as played by Adrian Toomes) might be one of, if not the main, villain. The Amazing Spider-Man 2 set Vulture up, but of course never came to be. Director Sam Raimi was going to make Vulture the big bad of Spider-Man 4 before it was canceled by Sony. The other possible big bad is Kraven the Hunter.
Spider-Man: Homecoming is planned for a July 7, 2017 release.
